Charleston, SC: 3 Day Itinerary + Recs

I just recently came back from short trip to Charleston, SC and it was one of the MOST beautiful places I have ever been! We all know my vacation destination spot of choice is Walt Disney World but I wanted to try a different spot for a change. My mom and I decided on Charleston and we are so happy we chose to visit. We went for three days and that was the perfect amount of time for us. Below I'll be sharing our three day itinerary, including all the places we ate, my recommendations, photo spots throughout the city, and recommendations from my Instagram followers.

We flew Southwest in and out of Charleston International Airport and chose the earliest flight on our way down and the latest flight on our way home so we could fully maximize our time there. We stayed at the Church Street Inn on Church Street right next to the Charleston Market. It was a perfect location and within walking distance to everything downtown so we rarely had to Uber which was so nice.

Our main goals on this trip were to explore as much of the downtown area as we could, try yummy foods, and visit all the cute photo spots. Charleston isn't that big of a city so we were fully able to get everything done that we wanted to! Here is our three day itinerary that worked super well for us!!

My Food Recs:

We absolutely loved all of the places we ate at! Poogan's Porch was highly recommended and I can see why. The french toast, mac n cheese, cheese fritters, she-crab soup were all sooo yummy. Dinner at Frannie and the Fox was such a vibe and the pizza and today's mozzarella were DELISH. Miller's All Day was AMAZING. So cute inside and had some of the best waffles I've ever had. Church and Union was surprisingly so good too. I got gnocchi's and my mom got the ravioli and both were incredible. The iced chai at Bitty and Beau's and La Patisserie was super yummy and would highly recommend both! La Patisserie is adorable inside so that one is my number one for sure :)
